Nothing matters more than online website promotion for a brand new site. It takes a lot of hard work and effort to get a site up and running and once it is, you need to have a plan as to how to get that site seen by as many people as possible without breaking the bank.
Luckily, you don’t need a small fortune to start promoting your website; there are plenty of free ways to get yourself started online and here’s just a few of them:
1) Write a free e-book and simply give it away. As a way to get more people to view your website, take some of the content you’ve already added to your site, re-write it a bit and compile it into a PDF e-book.
Don’t forget to add links to your e-book that will go directly to your site whenever someone clicks on them.
Then simply give this e-book away to free e-book directories such as:

2) Submit Articles. This is a tried-and-true method of getting links and website traffic simply because it works. But not all article directories are created equal. There are a few standouts that will get you the most traffic to your site.

When you create the bio for each of your articles, don’t forget to use the keywords you want your site to rank for within the link that heads to your site. Additionally, remember to link to different pages within your site, not just your home page.
3) Pingbacks for your blog. If you run a WordPress blog on your site or if you use it as the basis for your entire website design, did you know that if you link to another WordPress blog within a post you make on your own site, the site owner of the site you’re linking to will automatically get notified that someone has linked to them?
This is called a pingback and it’s very likely that the owner of the blog you’ve linked to will return the favor. this is a great way to get links from related blogs within your area of expertise.
3) Give Answers. There are quite a few well-known sites that have popped up online recently that allow people to ask questions and have people all across the internet answer those questions.
Oftentimes, these sites are organized by the category of the question so it makes it very easy to see if there are questions that you could answer in your field of expertise.

4) Online Classifieds. There are lots of online classified ads that you can use to get more traffic to your site. Some of these are free and others require that you pay a fee either one-time for the ad itself or as a monthly fee. Either way, they all tend to be very affordable for the exposure you receive.
The most important thing to remember about online classifieds is to use the keywords you want your site to be found for within the ad itself.
Additionally, give people a reason to visit your site. Are you offering them something for free? If so, let them know what it is. Make your classified ad as clear as possible so that when people visit your site they’ll know what to expect once they get there.
